Cabin Fever 2010
Join us this winter for our second season of Cabin Fever. Enjoy an inexpensive evening out in these tight financial times. It's always a Saturday evening and the evening events change every month. We’ve had cook offs & potlucks, poker games, cribbage tournaments, movies on the big screen. This season we’ll add even more.
Get out of the house! Join friends & neighbors close to home for dinner & fun! As a part of Cabin Fever we encourage everyone to bring a donation for the Tri-Area Food Bank. Every donation makes a difference. Bring a donation on Cabin Fever night and get a ticket for a drawing during the evening.
As of June 1st 2010, we’ve collected 2300 pounds and $550.00 for the food bank. Let's keep up our support for our neighbors.
Cabin Fever schedule for 2010
January 10th--- Starting at 6:00 p.m. A Potluck & Fun 'n Games!!
We’ll provide a main dish of Spaghetti. Dinner is free!!
Choose from a variety (Darts, pool, poker, cribbage etc) of games to play.
February 13th --- Starting at 6:00 p.m. Celebrate Valentine’s Day!!
A crab dinner for two!! One hot freshly cooked local crab, with two bowls of homemade clam chowder, two rolls w/butter, two Caesar salads and two splits of champagne. There will be two sittings for dinner, 6:00 & 7:30 p.m.
Cost: $30.00 per couple. Reservations are required.
6-8 p.m. Live country and bluegrass music by Skidder Hill (No cover charge).
March 20th---- Starting at 6:00 p.m. Chili & Cornbread Cook off!!
Dinner will consist of sampling the chili & corn bread entries.
Pre-entry in the cook-off is required. Entry forms and details available at the Tavern.
April 24th --- 1950’s Theme.
Those of you with vintage cars, trucks or motorcycles are invited to park and show them off in the B.O.A. parking lot from 4-6 p.m.
We encourage everyone to come dressed for the era, rummage through the closet and find that poodle skirt, leather jacket etc. 7-9 p.m. we'll fire up the jukebox for some "sock hoppin"!!
Our last “cabin Fever” will be in April, as we will be getting our beer garden open and ready for the summer season.
